Greenwood, SC – 12/07/2015 — Brandon Williamson of Town & Country Community Association Management Division in Greenwood, SC recently joined the elite group of community association managers who have earned the Association Management Specialist (AMS®) credential from Community Associations Institute (CAI). Only 6,000 managers worldwide who have earned this prestigious designation.

Williamson has been with Town & Country since October 2011 as a Property Manager and Realtor. Along with his new credential of AMS, he also holds the title of Certified Manager of Community Associations. He is a graduate of Clemson with a BS degree in Construction Science and Management. Originally from Donalds, SC, he and his wife Deidre and son reside in Greenwood.

For over 50 years, Town & Country has been recognized as a leader in the Construction and Property Management fields. Along with these two divisions, the company also provides management services to Home Owner Associations throughout the Carolinas with its Community Association Management Division. Town & Country Maintenance & Remodeling is their division specializing in providing remodeling and home maintenance services.

To earn the AMS credential, managers must have at least two years of experience in community association management and complete advanced course work. In addition, they must have already earned the basic industry certification for managers—the Certified Manager of Community Associations credential.

CAI and its 60 chapters work on behalf of the professionals and volunteers engaged in the management and governance of homeowner and condominium associations, cooperatives and other planned communities. CAI’s nearly 32,000 members include community association volunteer leaders, managers, management companies and businesses that provide products and services to these communities.

Greenwood, SC –( 08/26/2014) — Wilson Bruce of Town & Country Property Management, Inc. recently joined the elite group of community association managers who have earned the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) credential from Community Associations Institute (CAI).  Bruce is one of more than 2,200 managers worldwide who have earned the highest level of professional recognition in the community association field.

To earn the PCAM credential, managers must have five years of community association management experience and complete more than 100 hours of course work. In addition, credentialed PCAMs must fulfill continuing education and service requirements, as well as adhere to a code of ethics.

Town and Country Community Association Manager Passes
National Certification Exam

Greenwood, SC (March 2014)--Brandon Williamson of Town and Country in Greenwood, SC has been named Certified Manager of Community Association (CMCA) by the National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers (NBC-CAM). He joins more than 8,000 CMCA certificants nationwide who have demonstrated the professional knowledge that is important for managing condominium and homeowner associations and cooperatives.

Professional managers provide administrative, operational and managerial counsel to community association boards. He is responsible for managing budgets and contractors, directing association personnel, and overseeing compliance with association covenants and restrictions.

To obtain and maintain the CMCA credential, Williamson must complete comprehensive course work, pass a National Certification Examination, adhere to the CMCA Standards of Professional Conduct, and take continuing education courses to recertify.

NBC-cam is the first and only nationwide organization created solely to certify community association managers and to help consumers identify managers who have demonstrated fundamental competency and knowledge in this profession. With the dramatic increase in association-governed housing over the past 35 years, there is an expanded need for education in community association management.

  Greenwood, SC (February 26, 2010)--Town and Country Homeowner's Association Management congratulates Calhoun Mays, III and Wilson Bruce for receiving their Association Management Specialist (AMS) certification from the Community Association Institute(CAI). Both Mays and Bruce also hold the Certified Manager of Community Association credential (CMCA) from CAI. Town and Country Homeowner's Association Management remains the only certificated HOA Management Company in the Lakelands area.
